A patent pending elegant solution to reduce the cost and improve the durability of high quality dental implants.

Angulated screw channels are traditionally expensive as non-standard, delicate ‘T-tools’ are required to manufacture the seat. The expense of the custom tools is compounded by their slenderness which dramatically slows down production rates and increased probability of failures.

The patent pending innovation behind Smart Screw is fundamentally a ‘ball and socket’ joint, where a spherical profile is machined into both the screw seat and the screw head, allowing for perfect contact at any amount of angulation, only limited by the drivers used.

The tools required are off-the-shelf, 4 to 6 times stronger and cost a fraction of their traditional counterparts. The same tools may be used for any angulation, the only limit to which is the screwdriver used for final installation.

Above and beyond simply reducing costs, labs may improve aesthetics, comfort and durability by moving the channel exit to the optimal location everytime, a currently prohibitivly expensive operation.
